An honorable mention for favorite video game for me is called Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros was part of the Nintendo series. This was one of the first games I actually got for the 64 game console. This and Pokémon Snap were my first 2 games I received for the console. I fell in love with this game because it was so cool how it was put together. Never before have I ever played a game when you be a character associated with a series and battle each other. Characters such as Yoshi and Kirby were on it. It was all Nintendo characters. Others are ones such as Donkey Kong and Bowser and of course Mario. My favorite however was Yoshi. Why I loved Yoshi was because of the moves he was given for the game. One move I actually liked the most was the rolling egg you could get into. This move was one that would make everyone mad. It would make people mad because they could be in a battle with someone and then all of a sudden they are going up in the air. The best move though by him was when he would swallow someone. When Yoshi would swallow someone they would come out of his butt like an egg. This move would be very useful if someone was beating you up bad. One thing that this game had that was cool though was the extra game modes you could do. I remember at the end of the story mode and always fighting a huge white glove hand. This was a weird boss but a very cool one to fight because of the cool moves it had. One of the moves I remember was when it would shot bullets out of its fingers. The best part however about this game was the extra characters you could unlock during this game. One I remember unlocking the most who became one of my favorites on the next editions was Captain America. Captain America became an original character after this game, but in this one you had to unlock him. The Falcon punch was one of the coolest moves I have ever seen on the game. One punch from this guy and the person would be flying out of the map. This game definitely could be in the top 5 of my favorite games. However I never really played it as much as when I did on the 64. That is the reason why I think it is only an honorable mention.
